The inner petals resemble Ashok Chakra, carrying the 24 dharmas.
The outer petals resemble people and their imperfections (karmas).
My art mantra: The outer petals (karma) are balanced by the inner petals (dharma).
I made this on the occasion of Indian Independence Day , as it reminded me of the famous and respected lines of Manusmriti:
“Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah“
Meaning: If you protect Dharma, then Dharma will protect you.
