The Pandemic of Ego

Swooned by the intolerance,
tears pearled as they rolled.
Noxious it was with ignorance,
my heart cried out hinting disaster.

Thwarted were their endeavors,
humans thought!
Your ego turned into aggressors,
I restate!

Can the delusions be with held
and the damage come to an end?
Never seen by the naked eyes,
could it go away from life?

Questions unresolved in time,
panic strikes as the death nears.
Theories crack a wine,
but the mystery remains alive.

Doomsday is it? The pandemic?
Humans questioned!
Ask the creator, whose mind is feculent
I demanded!

Can the delusions be with held
and the damage come to an end?
Never seen by the naked eyes,
could it go away from life?

Inklings left behind ignored,
and seedlings of wrath rooted.
Like the fiery waves ashore,
granted I was taken to adhere!

Any way out of this cobweb of pain?
humans asked!
Shower me love like a drizzled rain,
you will get my magical shade.

Delusions reach the dead end,
as you turn into a good Samaritan.
Never to be seen again till the end,
as I erased the creature forever!

Excerpt
We all are going through a tough time. Reality is harsh with the disease being violent and deadly. Any disaster that emerges is due to the imbalance in the ecosystem. We humans have taken our Mother Earth for granted since ages with a feeling of “Why should I care?” There could be a possibility that karma has been reverted back due to the ignorance uprooted. This poem is my thoughts over this situation, and how the Nature converses about the problems caused.

My muses reflect my instance of thinking, which brings me to new reflections and enchantments. I call them as my tiny musings.

    1. I guess this was something that was coming for us now or later. It’s harsh but we have been the virus equivalent for Mother earth. Very nicely put Sukeerti! Well written and makes you think 🙂

  1. It is aptly described how ego is killing ourselves and the world we live in. Thanks for the wonderful poem. It’s time that we must realize what matters the most.

  2. It’s amazing… I really liked the transition and the way of thinking. Keep up the good work 🙂
